Our Story

The story of PB Lodge starts as most good stories do – with a fishing trip. The Keeble family was enjoying a fishing trip in the Sunshine State, one of the few non-tournament trips they get to take each year. After a long day on the water, they returned to their hotel to unwind and rest, only to discover a bit of an issue regarding where to safely park their boat. A savvy family of fishermen they, of course, called the hotel prior to the trip to confirm they could park and charge the boat at the hotel, but the hotel manager on staff that day had a different opinion. They were told they had to move their boat. Standing in the parking lot frustrated and exhausted, Chris looked at his parents and said, “I want to build a hotel where you can park your boat safely in a garage.” Renee said, “We will do that.” Tim said, “No we won’t.” And like most stories end, his wife was right. PB Lodge opened in March 2021. Although our story originated from a fishing trip we are here for all travelers seeking safety, security and comfort.

Can I book a room without a garage?

Absolutely. You can book a room with or without a garage.

Do you offer Wi-Fi?

Yep! Wi-Fi is free for all guests.

What time can I check into my room?

Check-in time is 4 p.m. EDT/EST. Check-out time is 12 p.m. EDT/EST. Requests for early check-ins and late check-outs will be handled based on availability at the time of check-in. Should you need to confirm an arrival time earlier than 4 p.m. or a departure later than 12 p.m., please contact us directly in advance.

Can I bring my pets?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate pets at the lodge.

Do I have to pay up-front for my reservation?

We require a one-night deposit to reserve a room. If you are only staying with us for one night, the total amount will be due at the time of booking.

How large are the garages?

The garages are 15’x30’. The garage doors are 8’ tall and 12’ feet wide.

Can I charge my boat in the garage?

Of course. Each garage bay is on an individual electrical circuit that is connected to a backup generator.

Is there an on-site place where I can wash my boat?

Sure thing. We have water spigots at the garage bays for your convenience.

Are the garages heated?

In the winter, the garages are heated for your comfort!

Is breakfast included?

We do not offer food service at the lodge, but we do serve fresh coffee in the lobby each morning! Check out our amenities and attractions page for local restaurant information.
